stupid failed art trade
This guy waited 10 days after I had finished to tell me he "wasn't feeling up to it." Like a fucking coward. Never heard from him again.
Not a huge loss, even at the time I thought the anatomy was bad. He has no idea I have a ng and I doubt he gives a shit so here it is! That rendering is uh... also why is the lighting so crunchy? Who knows-
AMTDS character concepts!
to anyone who's played AMT dream simulator (ur sexy btw), These fellas might look familiar. I have no idea when I made these but they were the original concepts for two of the npcs. Derek, in particular, has a pretty solid history
I first drew him in 2022 as a silly character back when I wanted my artstyle to look like fnf (cringe)
But for the purpose of the game, I ended up altering his appearance to look a little more like something you'd see in LSD dream emulator
I love these even if the art quality isn't my best anymore, A lot of them art I've put into that game is like that. But I love the project so much I'd like to think the passion comes through.
(also shout out to when Derek had arms maybe he'll get them back in an update that would be funny af to put in patch notes)

"L'appel du vide" means "Call of the void" btw.
I'll be honest, up until recently I've been a huge suck up to people requesting art. So when this guy I had met an hour ago saw that I knew how to draw and immediately asked if I would make him a cover for his album of a genre I can't even remember because I listened to it for a total of 5 minutes. I said yes. And this "interesting" drawing came from it.
It's just not a very well thought out drawing, the fabric looks like a paper cutout and the front teeth of the guy look like 🤓. So you know.

I feel bad for the person this was made for.
They don't talk to me a lot anymore, but she was a very cool artist that was really really good at drawing dinosaurs. So when I asked to do an art trade with her, she wanted me to draw a t rex. Unfortunately, I rushed it, didn't look at ANY references, and the result is just sad. I don't think she'll see this but if she does, sorry :(

some of the bg drawings are low effort, but I do still like the pink guy in the middle, I'll be it his anatomy makes it looks like his back is breaking, but I digress

this drawing was a redraw of my first Newgrounds post, which will be one year old in 2 days !
The anatomy in this one is better, the lighting is great, but it's just so... lifeless..
The old one looks wonky as shit, but I actually really like the stylization I did, and I think a lot of it was lost with this one. Next year I'll try again I suppose.
I don't hate any of the drawings I put in here, but I don't think I maximized my potential, which is ok! You need to fail sometimes to eventually make art you love. And I really love my most recent art and can't wait to see what it's store for the comic, and 2024. I've learned a lot from a ton of REALLY talented ng artists. And I just wanted to say
